Effective March 1, 2010
The Long Road convenience rural refuse collection site at the Flatrock Industrial Park, or the intersection of Indianapolis Road and Lowell Road will be closing. This decision is based on a cost-saving effort identified in the District's 20-year solid waste management plan. It is regrettable that this will cause an inconvenience to patrons currently using this site.

Users of the Long Road site along with all Bartholomew County Residents are welcome to use any of the other convenience stations located within a 7-9 mile radius within Bartholomew County on Saturdays for garbage disposal. Please see the list below.
